The ancient Greeks believed the circle to be one of the most perfect of all holy geometric shapes, for life runs in cycles, waves and circles.  People naturally gather in circles and expand outward from that center, much as trees in the forest or other biological cells and structures.  And those who follow in the next generation repeat much the same cycle.

Thus we see spirits circling the earth to be born onto a family circle, maturing and making new associations, attachments and circles of friendship, possibly getting married to create a new family circle and eventually laying down the body to move on to bigger and better things, joining their circle of spirit helpers and guides..  These circles are all part of the cycle of life.  There is no death.

Thus, the ministers of the Mystical Spiritualist Church often aid or officiate at ceremonies and celebrations for these events and others.  Some of these are listed below:

The following was inspired by someone called Seth. I knew not why I wrote this Eulogy many years ago, other than it seemed inspiring at the time.  And then about 6 months later a dear friend (dog) passed on and I discovered this Eulogy in my computer.  I knew then that it is a tribute to all my many good “dearly departed” friends in this life.

Thus, Existence is much larger than a life or death, for whether we approach it from purely human terms or non-human, it includes both.  There must be one to balance and create the other.  For all these are states of existence and the existence of God.  Conscious identity exists in all states, be they called ''life'', love, light, dark, ''death'', or what ever the term chosen.  For consciousness and the existence of God-Goddess are everywhere and in every way - every day.

This consciousness, then, which we honor this day, we have called (name).  But this one was never totally dependent on physical form, for that consciousness, some call ''soul'', behind this life form ''formed'' the physical manifestation that we all knew and loved, as we saw it manifest as a physical body here on earth.  It was through this body that this consciousness - as we all did - chose to experience the physical universe.  This one, then, chose to experience it as a human being. Others may choose to be a cell, organ, cat, dog, plant, rock, tree, continent, planet or bright and shining star.

God-Goddess in infinite wisdom and love did not decree that this consciousness should be nothing but the person that we have known, and thus this conscious energy, must move on to where and what it wants to be next.  Life is about BEing.

Now those who look upon physical life and existence as somehow inferior to some other state may be doing themselves and physical existence a great injustice.  One experience is never superior or inferior to another, as all are God given and each one takes the consciousness one step higher in its understanding of its own totality and the totality of All-That-IS and God.  So physical life as also the spiritual life, is everywhere filled with the universal energy of Love that is its source.  And so it is that, no existence can be inferior to its own composition.

The inner self is quite aware of its own spiritual and physical dexterity as it lives many lives.  The body consciousness then understands that its physical existence is dependent on its physical death, and that death will assure yet another physical existence.  The drive for survival is, therefor, a drive that leads to death, and beyond it, for all consciousness understands that it survives through many forms and many conditions as it lives on to experience the All-in-all through all of self.

Corporal reality, thusly, is a brilliant segment of everlasting life and existence, like a star in the night sky.  So any one reality is but part of a larger picture forming All-That-IS.  And this is why we all have a limited time within any one realm.

And so this day I honor this one as they seemingly have passed from our reality and our physical view now, only to be seen at other times and places by grace of love.  Some of us will hold this loved one in our prayers and see them in our dreams.  And so we are all enriched by this event, as the apparent death and decay of living tissue becomes the enrichment for other physical life forms, and the soul is set free to Live On, infinitely. 

I remember well the experience I had several years ago in a rain forest, where I saw the magic of new life springing up everywhere, exactly where other forms had “died”.  In that place one could see that there is no death, only change of life form.  And so it is for each one of us and this one we honor today. 

And, I am told, the Holy Spirit including helpers in light, life, and love that they did receive this eternal being and give this one their care as I put the finishing touches on this tribute.
