A SECONDARY DEDICATION:

This Website and any books that I write are dedicated to all those who have contributed to my life of self discovery. I must thank my wives and lovers for their contribution, along with my teachers, whether channeled, inspired, imagined or physical for their part in this process.
Of special mention are Ethel & Jack Rowe who introduced me to Spiritualism with the word Mystical attached; to Jack for taking me on as his apprentice in Spiritual Healing and to Ethel for allowing me to speak from my heart from the pulpit, in a church. Also, there are two other ministers, in spirit, who have influenced my path in this life. The first is my own grandfather, Rev. John William Kohlenberger, who before I was born was a German Methodist minister in Anaheim California (not far from thr location of Ethyl & Jack's Mystical United Spiritualist church). The second is Rev./Dr. James Martin Peebles whom I discovered in a book, "Dancing with Angels", in 1989 and have since heard many teachings and had many conversations with through several spirit mediums and/or channels. Of course, there are many others in the Spirit Dimensions who have been there when I needed them, such as my own guidance, the Old Chinese, P'taah, Seth and many others.
I am dedicating certain portions of this work to my own parents, as well. First to my mother who was a nurse that had a heart that was full of love and understanding, even though when I was a 14 year old boy, when she found my precious books on what I thought were the world's 5 major religions, she threw them away. Later, she told me, "A good Christian boy like you doesn't need books like that". [Little did she realize that I would go on to study even more of the world's religions and philosophies.] Secondly, having a father who was a "Physician and Surgeon", I appreciate being brought up with some of his logical scientific and medical outlooks on life, so that years later I could find out that while physical knowledge supports earthly pursuits, there are wisdoms that can warm the heart and soul that are beyond cold straight forward logic ... and the same is true for healing.
My course of self discovery has made me aware, of late, that I have been a Spiritual Healer as early as 1971 when I picked up a dog that had just been run over by a truck, gave him all the love I could and he survived! This was before I trained with Jack Rowe in 1991 and later earned a Holistic Health Practitioner diploma in year 2000, while running a Holistic Healing Office & Practice (doing Spiritual Massage as well) in Lake Forest California.
Thus, today I am increasingly appreciating the process that leads me (and each one of us) through lack of understanding, to knowledge and then on through wisdom to love for all that is ... and who we are. Thus, these are some of the influences that I have also brought this website about ... for your growth in love, joy and healing.

BORN IN LOVE

I, John Kohlenberger, was born in 1938 during the troubled times during thefailure of the League of Nations and the run up to World War II. However as I realized during my very first palm reading (by Celeste) I came in to this life with inspiration from the past and names to remind me of that inspiration, sign posts along my way, if you will. My first name is John, the same name as the apostle John and my middle name is Michael, like the Archangel. These names were chosen by my soul as reminders for my physical being of what I have come to do.
Though physically I was of German ancestry as my Father was the son of German immigrants, However, at the time I was growing up, the “Germans” were some of those that “we”, this nation, were fighting. But my father and my family were not terrible people, so I had no reason to hate the Germans ... or Japanese, for that matter. As a boy, I loved them all.
On the other hand, my mother was “scotch-Irish”. Though I heard her mention her family line descending from Huguenots, it was many decades later that I found that some of these French Protestants fled to Scotland and Ireland where they were called “scotch-Irish”.
In early child-hood, this war was raging, with propaganda flying from all sides. Being brought up in a Presbyterian church I had heard the message of love that the Christ had spoken through the man Jesus – and I tried to live by them. Again, “we” were also fighting the Japanese. However, because of what I had heard in church, I remember thinking, “If I would meet a Japanese person on the street I would shake his hand and not kill him”.
Little children know love; they have to be taught hate. This is why Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven”. And at 3 years old, I still remembered to love my neighbor, even if they are half way around the world.
By 14 years of age, I had grown to a point where I felt that Jesus was not my savior, as the churches had tried to indocterinate me, but was and Is My Brother! He is yours, too and may already be walking with you each day. You have Gaurdian Angels and Spirit Guides to help you find your way of life and living, as your own unique expression of Love, Life, Light, Creation or God. And if you ask, Jesus may even come and walk or even talk with you, as your brother. For, He walked this earth as a human being. The major difference between his beliefs and ours is that he knew that He and Creation are One. Thus, he walked lightly upon the earth, with dignity, love and light in his heart and mind.
So, throughout this website I share quotes, images and inspirations that I have found valuable along my way. Many of those who I quote, I have met at some level and had wonderful loving and living experiences with. Thus, I share not only my love for all of humanity, including you, but I share theirs as well.

The Question

As a young boy, I was already aware of my philosophy of life. Thus, I enjoyed church where they taught "real" knowledge, rather than Sunday school where their "teachers" played at teaching, entertaining the children with nice words and trite dsayings. To me, Sunday school was a waste of time.
So, one Sunday I was fortunate to be present in church when the minister (Dr. Hunter, a PhD in Biblical; History) preached about "Everlasting Life". He quoted Bible verses, his seminary teachers and gave us some of his personal opinions. Of course, as part of his presentation, he had to talk about the "afterlife" and how not only Jesus showed us that he had this property, but that there is life "after death" for the rest of us. Of course we then got the usual Christian sales pitch about doing the "good" things and not doing the "bad" things, so we will have our everlasting life in heaven rather than the Hell that Plato invented. He may have even trhrown in the sales pitch that "only Christians are saved", which I have always rejected as I know God to be for and love ALL PEOPLE!
After church, I thought about what "everlasting life" might mean. And, to my young mind, I figured that "everlasting" must mean, throughout infinity, including before this life as well as during and after it. So, since my father seemed to know everything, I asked, "If there is everlasting life and this life is part of it, what is before this life?"
My father replied, "We don't talk about that"!
So, even at a young age, this "good Christian boy" (as my mother later called me at age 14) was already asking questions like a Zen student, expecting answers from my Zen (Jain, Sufi, Shinto or Taoist) master teacher.
This was John's Question, at 3 or 4 years old

Made in the image of Creator ... how could we not have these characteristics as a part of who we are. As a son or daughter of Creator, how could you not have these characteristics as a part of who and what you are?

BACKGROUND:
Born into a Presbyterian family, John studied the world’s major religions, as a teenager. Later, as a Computer Engineer for nearly 40 years, he specialized in aerothermodynamics, but also worked on green energy and transportation projects during the energy conscious years of the 1970s. John has also fit himself into the equation of life, as an Auto mechanic, professional Artist and a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner over his years.

Along with his then girl friend, Martine, John found Spiritualism in 1991. Since then he has become a Teacher, Minister, Discussion Group Leader , Spiritual Circle Facilitator and a Student of Life at OLLI & YC Adult Ed. Spiritualism is a blend of science and spirit. As a Spiritualist minister with a background in “rocket science”, Reverend John likes to speak on many subjects, including Christ’s Love of the Divine Spirit of God, that is a part of all life – even yours!

We'll Be Together Again
Believe it or not, we are all formed from the same divine energy and our bodies are made out of the same elements (blasted from Super Novas) as the earth, even though most churches we are taught to feel secure by imagining that we are separate from all that and at the same time we are superior to it all. Further, as human beings (being humans) we believe that we are totally "Physical Beings", somehow manifesting in the Particle Domain, but we also have thoughts and feel emotions that come from the unseen side of our beings. So Who Are We - Really?
In the Wave Domain, that some call Spirit where we are all made of the same stuff; we are pure energy vibrating at different rates, like the colors of the rainbow or the many, mostly harmonious, notes in a symphony. What a beauty to behold that world, when you can see humanity to be like different paints upon a canvas, depicting different scenes, feelings, attitudes, shapes and emotions.
This is not too different from hearing the instruments of an orchestra, band or small group, each with their own note, tone and musical color, consisting of their unique pitch and tennor. And yet, together they make music to live for that adds depth, color and meaning to our lives.

Why not stop what you're doing and relax, release, be responsive to the music of life? This is a way to become rejuvenated by the movements lof life within you! Why not learn to dance with life, instead of fighting it? And, while you're at it, why not stop to smell the roses - and enjoy their color, shape and soft feel along with the smell ... and the thorns. See, even you are multi-fasceted, with many senses.
