 No prerequisites are necessary, thus no special knowledge or training is necessary; or expected.  These discussion groups are open to anyone interested in expanding their awareness and buying a cup of brew and/or a breakfast item from the coffee house we are meeting at.

Reverend John Kohlenberger begins ministry in California

After moving from Santa Cruiz, around the turn of the last century, where he had a previous congregation, Reverend John W. Kohlenberger continued his German Methodist ministry in church located at Lemon and Anaheim Blvd, across the street from La Palma Park in Anaheim California.  

After Rev. J.W. Kohlenberger lost his physical body, J. M. Kohlenberger, as a small boy, was occasionally allowed to play his grandfather’s reed organ that used to be in his Anaheim church. In his early teens, young John took an interest in the 5 major religions of the world.  He studied them until his books were thrown out by his mother, saying “A good Christian boy like you doesn’t need books like those”.  Little did she know what direction John’s soul would take him.

In 1992, John was invited to help with services and sermons in the Mystical United Spiritualist Church in Anaheim, not far from where his grandfather had been a minister.  In year 2000, John became a “Reverend”, in a new age, alternative (to orthodoxy) and complimentary (to all religions) church that is based on the love and spiritual wisdoms taught and lived by the man called Jesus and by God’s many masters and messengers before and after.

France Bans Smoking in Cafes, Clubs, Rejects Sartre's Gauloises

Dec. 28, 2007 (Bloomberg) – France bans smoking in cafes, hotels and clubs on Jan. 1, stamping out a habit popularized by Jean Paul Sartre puffing Gauloises in hazy brasseries while discussing some of the philosophies of the times.

The image of Sartre puffing away at the Cafe de Flore in Paris was fashionable when Martine (pictured) was growing up in France.  Martine spent many nights listening, discussing, smoking and drinking French café with Jean Paul in the 1960s.

Now that Martine is a Reverend, non-smoker and lives in North Central Arizona, she helps moderate our Discourse & Discussion Groups at local coffee houses in and around Prescott!

Coming together of two souls

In 1986 Martine consulted a psychic and was told that she would meet a man with a beard in several years, and marry him when she was about 50.  Sure enough, when John and Martine met in a Singles Discussion Group, John had a go-tee. They were married when Martine was 50 years old.  However, these two have been together many times throughout “everlasting life”, often as family members, friends, Lightseekers and Lightworkers.

John Meets the Madonna

In 1998, a month before John and Martine were to travel to Mexico, a fellow Spiritualist Minister predicted that John would “meet The Madonna in a church”.  However, while visiting a church, in Mexico, no “Madonna” appeared.

However, a few years later in September 2002 when John visited England for the second time, he had some interesting experiences in Wells, Glastonbury and also in Salisbury.

The earlier prediction came true at the alter in Salisbury Cathedral, England, as John was lighting candles for our “dearly departed” Minister, Ethel Rowe, who had first introduced John and Martine to Spiritualism in 1991.

Mother Mary’s message was: “I love you; just as I love my son and all of humanity.”

Rev. John has brought all of his energy and background as an philosopher, artist, engineer, mathematician, holistic health practitioner and group facilitator to share in the mountains of north-central Arizona.

Martine, Today

Rev. Martine is bringing all of the energy from her background as an artist, chef, hypnotherapist, massage therapist, accountant, tax associate and accounting manager to the mountains of north-central Arizona to share with you.
