Spiritual Awareness & Psychic Awareness Classes
The Mystical Spiritualist Church has its roots in both Spirit and Science. Thus, we are excited to announce the continuation of our Spiritualist Circles where we gather regularly to create a consistent connection with the energies of our spirit guides, loved ones, angels and Beyond so we may learn and practice our Spiritual Awareness and Psychic Abilities. We hold these Spiritual Circles every other week throughout the year. Like minds and hearts gather at 6:30 PM at Peaceful Heart Healing Center, 3147 N. Robert Rd. in Prescott Valley.
To join in, only involves a commitment of “being present” with a love donation of $5 every other Tuesday evening. To some, this may sound serious, however it is simply a group of Seekers playing with natural spiritual energies that are a part of the imaginative mind that Scientists use every day! The only difference is that we use a Love vibration so we may commune more in harmony with infinite energies! All Lightseekers are invited to come and have fun together with spirit as we each Awaken to our True Self ... in the Love Vibration of the Spirit Selves that We Are!

The Purpose of our Spiritualist Circles:
We hold these Circles so that each attendee may further develop their own psychic abilities and spiritual awareness, with the aid of teachers on this side of the veil, along with the help of a loving nonjudgmental group in spirit "on the other side" of the veil and your own spiritual guidance, higher self and their inner truths. Within each circle we create the energies of awakening, learning, messages from spirit and healing.
No prior experience is necessary. The only requirement is a desire to know God, Goddess, self and spirit better. This is intended to be a light hearted, fun adventure where preconceived ideas and intellectual logic is released so that your heart and imagination may come in to play. Isn't this what you did as a small child? Come, learn about the suttle universal energies, sensing unseen energies, communing with spirits, angels and spirit guides, your kundalini energy, chakras, human electro-magnetics, auras, tea readings, the use of pendulums and more.
REMEMBER: “Only as little children shall you be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven”.
Through the relaxation of our purely physical orientation, releasing the bonds of our linear intellect and employing the freedom of imagination, may students of the divine learn psychic development techniques, using the tools of inspiration, music, prayer, affirmation and meditation. To practice this, we sit in a circle of communion with like-minded and like-hearted people and spirits, BELIEVING that indeed, "With God and spirit, All things are possible".
Many students of the Divine Within, world wide, have found more of what they seek, spiritually and thus become ministers of love and peace unto themselves and others in this manner. Our purpose is to help Lightseekers, Lightworkers and Dreamweavers become more fulfilled with their own spiritual asperations, inspirations, insights, lives, enlightenment, wisdom, love and the peace that passeth all understanding.

WHO IS "CALLED" ... to enter into a Spiritualist Circle?
Spiritual Seekers join Spirit Circles to learn, practice, observe and to simply soak in the spirit energies.
A spirit circle is formed “when two or more are gathered together” to seek higher wisdom from spiritual sources, usually from above or beyond what they believe to be, themselves.
Traditionally, spirit circles are held in people’s homes, thus they are often called “home circles” in England where Spiritualism is also popular. Spirit Circles or Séances have even been held in the Whitehouse when Abraham Lincoln was president. Many people have begun to learn to bridge the imagined, “chasm” between the physical world and the so called “out there” higher spiritual planes in Home Circles. In that process, many have become mediums for the transference of spirit energy through circles such as ours.

| HOW IS A SPIRITUALIST CIRCLE FORMED?
A spirit circle is formed “when two or more are gathered together” to seek higher wisdom from spiritual sources, usually from above or beyond what they believe to be the limitations of self.
Spiritual Seekers, Lightworkers and Energy Healers join Spirit Circles to learn and practice opening to their heart more completely; where the “still small voice within” exists. Along with this comes associated images, feelings, smells, tastes, memories and thoughts that come with our own spirit as we invite and allow that presence to come alive in our physical world. Some come to practice opening to All-That-Is (God), while others are attracted by the "energy" of the process and come to observe or to simply soak in the energies that come with the communion of The Living Spirit.
We invite you to come to learn how to Release, Relax and Rejuvenate your connections with spirit. Then as you allow your focus to go out of your linear intellectual mind, you enter your quantum sacred heart, or Sacre Coeur.
As you enter within your holy sanctuary within self you may find your light, your truth and your way.

| AWAKENING TO YOUR TRUE SELF
We are all from the same God, the same source and that source is love. Thus, when we talk about knowing yourself, we are not talking about the external reality of your world. Rather, we speak of the truths that you want to know about yourself that are eternal truths and your eternal life.
The answers come only from “the kingdom that is within”. In deep meditation experiences, we allow God to speak to us, through us. The deeper and higher you go in meditation, the more you know that God lives in you. This is a universal truth. Not one human soul who has ever lived on the earth plane is an exception to the reality of God living in them.
In our Circles, we move from worry and concern about the external world so we allow our awareness to center upon the Living Spirit within. As you do this, many, many answers will come to you, and much guidance will come to you for your life.
As we pray and meditate without expectation, we enter into the Kingdom of Heaven that is within and may sense a desire within: a desire to receive the gifts of spirit through love and understanding in your life. You each have a guide, a friend, a family member that is with you in this Domain. There is one with you at all times who wants very much to come to you out of the light, out of the mists of indecision to help you in your understanding, to help you find the answers that you are seeking. That one is here already, my dear friend. With the Living Spirit, all questions already have answers, all needs are already fulfilled.
To receive these promises is a matter of opening yourself to accepting the light, love, inspiration and truth that you already are. The Kingdom within is yours, for the Great God of All is Alive and hiding within You!

An Intruduction to Meditation, Spiritual Development, Spirit Messages, Guidance and Healing

What happens in a Circle?
Spirit circles have a long history, even into pre-history. Many who read this are familiar with a meditation, healing or message gathering (circle) where one person is the "medium" and gives all the advice and is in control. The circles that we offer, here, are much less structured than that, so that each person present may become a part of the experience and even learn to give and receive messages or healings or other “gifts of the spirit”.
Common Elements of Spirit Circles:
Gathering, Affirmation, Music, Inspiration, Meditation, Psychic Development, Billet Reading, Messages, Mediumship, Channeling, Healing, Prayer & Disbursing; not necessarily in that order.
Gathering:
For millennia, like minded and curious people have gathered to find out more about their world, their being, capabilities and response abilities. Discovering more is the natural result of the expansion of consciousness that we see in physical form as an expanding universe. Often a positive prayer or affirmation is used to “center” people’s minds to gather the energies before "starting" the circle.
In the Beginning
We begin by setting the energy pattern with hope for positive results and the belief that “It is all God”, thus at no time are we separate from light, life and love during this time. Also, at no time is there any intent to impose ideas or beliefs, presented by any person or personality in these circles, upon the beliefs of any individual. Each participant is encouraged to decide for them selves the validity, accuracy, and importance of any information or experiences presented.
Affirmation
Positive affirmations are often used to set the energy pattern for each gathering of a circle . Affirmations, to be most effective, need to be personal, positive and present . As an example; if your belief supports it, you may say “I AM …”. Or, if you are not that positive about your relationship to what it is you desire, may say “I AM BECOMING …” or "This Is Becomming ...". Do not lie to yourself, for you do know the truth of you.
NOTE: Throw out the “can’s, will’s, may’s and maybes”. Cans go in the trash, wills are for dead people and the mays are always in the future … maybe next May? Coulds and shoulds are also to be avoided; if it truly could've or should've: by the Power of God it would've already!
Music:
Calming, soothing music is often played so that those gathered may center and focus their awareness on the lighter things in life; namely their spiritual aspects. Sometimes we use recorded music, live music or sing songs, while at other times toning or chanting may be used. The “muses” provide paths to truth, beauty, love and ultimate realities; as they help lift us above and beyond the limitations of earth, body and mind.

Inspiration
Shared words of inspiration may be as simple as a sentence. Often times an inspiring passage or a page is read out of a book, though some times an individual may bring an inspiring or inspired phrase to share. A short discussion may follow.
Prayer
Many people imagine that they talk directly to God or other Deities in prayer. Your favorite Deities may include Higher Selves, Masters, Prophets, Avatars, Angels, Saints, Gods, Goddesses or even Extra Terrestrials. Opening this communication is up to each individual. All we ask is that you connect with your highest self or being and lovingly allow others to do the same – even if that is a different connection than yours.
Meditation
A guided meditation is used to “center” your thoughts and being as you “connect” with your deities and then All-That-Is. Some of our meditations will better enable you to be in contact, connect and communicate with your Gate Keeper, Guardian Angels, Guides and Loved Ones, way beyond the commonly agreed upon limitations of the physical plane.
Psychic Development
Development of one’s senses, beyond the physical, mental and emotional orientations is a natural consequence of quieting those senses in prayer and/or meditation. This sort of group is organized to help each person understand their best direction and gain confidence in their own innate abilities. You may even experience the magic of the Mystic that You Are along with the Love that You Are, in a Circle.
Billet Reading & Angel Messages
Messaging Circles are common in the U.S.A. and abroad. You may have already attended such a session. Once you have knowlege and xperience of contact with those on the Higher Vibrational Planes within All Existence, above and or beyond earth, body and mind, you are ready to see, hear, feel, taste or touch into messages from spirit and spiritual sources. We will all practice this art by giving, receiving and critiqing Angel Billet Readings.
Mediumship – in General
There are many forms of Mediumship. Music and musicians are often the medium for spirit to touch your emotions, heart or mind. If the music “moves you”, you have been “moved by spirit” – or the spirit of the music. Great painters are mediums, yes, even house painters may be mediums. As you find any form of work or play inspiring, the performer is likely a medium. Even cabinet makers or trash collectors may be mediums. You are likely already a medium and just do not know it!
Spiritual Mediumship
There are many forms of spirit or Spiritual Mediumship (covered in a separate presentation). In general, Spiritual Mediumship is a process or an event in which, obviously, the “gifts of spirit” are active and being distributed to those attending or to those intended. The people who bring these gifts are the “Mediums” for other spititual energies, “Entities” or disincarnate personalities to pass their views of reality to humanity. Remember to weigh what you hear, see, feel and experience with your heart.
Channeling
This is considered by many to be a step beyond mediumship, or it may indeed be considered a “Super Mediumship”. For, flowing highly attuned spiritual energy, transmitting or transferring it, through words or other means is a form of Spiritual Mediumship. As one relaxes, releases and surrenders to spirit, and gets the ego out of the way, that person stops blocking the “still small voice” within and becomes the “Medium” or "Channel" for that energy. In this way they open to channel, more directly from Infinite Universal Sources and Divine Creative Forces.
Healing Energies
Spiritual Healing is yet another form of Channeling. All health and healing comes on the vibration of Love. You may learn to release, relax and rejuvenate; self and others, through centering your being in love while in meditation and prayer. Healing, of course, comes in many forms; some of which are physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. And these methods may or may not involve touch, physical presence or the results desired. As one relaxes the conscious mind and releases expectation, spirit is set free to do its own form of magic and miracle, to let “God work in wondrous ways”. We usually also do this in a circle, as a group practice so the healewrs among us may blossom and bloom.
Back to earth, mind and body:
At the end of each circle session (usually in the evening), we came back to our earthly attunement, thanking the spiritual energies such as Guides, God and the angels for their help and guidance. This is very important! Every body and being appreciates love, honor and respect. Worship is not required. You may rest assured that you have boosted your energy potential and earthly vibration, by some amount, just by being in a circle of spiritual friendship to increase your understanding and awareness. At this point you are bringing heavenly energies to earth and it is tome to ground them as well as yourself.
Donation:
It is customary to give $5 (2 pounds 50p in England) to the organization or persons holding the Home Circle. Here, your love donation goes directly to the Mystical Spiritualist Church, a non-profit corporation. No individual profits by money from these circles, yet everybody in attendance profits spiritually - and in many other ways as well. Your donation keeps the Circle of Abundance of Life active and alive.
Disbursal:
Refreshments are often served afterwards, as the participants may want to engage in refreshing conversation with others who are in like attunement. However, after some sessions, where the vibration is particularly high, participants may be asked to leave in silence, until they arrive home.

BILLET READINGS & ANGEL MESSAGES
What are they?
Billets are usually pieces of paper with numbers, letters, words or symbols upon them. These are billets or tickets to a better understanding of our place in this experience we call life. The message contained in and around that paper and symbol are then interpreted by a “reader”. In this class, you are learning to become that reader. The messages can come from you, your guidance, Angels, loved ones, saints, prophets or even aliens or God-Goddess and All-That-IS. Some messages, then, are indeed Angel Messages, Gifts from Spirit or Messages from Heaven.
How to “Read” billets.
Do not fear, judge or try to interpret what you “get” during this process. You are now a Servant of All-That-IS. Thus, we are not here to sell, buy into, fix, change or necessarily heal others. They are their own keepers. However, we are their brothers and sisters, ready to help as we can. We are here, as a reader, to simply give our best to another to help them get through their day and to get along their way.
Pick up a Billet
Choose one at “random” or one that “appeals” to you on some level. Look at it and see how it is folded, flat, wrinkled, torn or what makes this billet unique. Love it. Then, open it to see the contents, inside. What you see on the Billet that you select are symbols. They may look like numbers, letters, words or phrases. What you see is just the key; to unlock the energy and the message contained within you the paper Billet or object that you are reading and the person who first selected it and kept it upon their person for a while.
Symbols
The Symbols or patterns contained within may look like double numbers or letters. These have placement and shape. They may look like arrows, mountains, symbols of unity, infinity, oneness or change. Just like reading tea leaves. The geometry that you notice can be clues to you, the Reader.
Numerology
If you see numbers, sometimes, their numerological significance can be further clues to the message this person needs to hear. Similarly with letters or words that are revealed. Even if these remind you of something that only you know, this billet has been given to you (none other) by spirit; possibly or simply because you have that idea or experience to share.
Psychometry
For those who feel spiritual energy, they may feel the energy of the person who last held t5his object or paper. All things are vibration and so some of that persons vibration has been imprinted on this Billet or object that you will now get your message, or clues to that message, from.
Spiritual Connections
You are connected with your guides and all of spirit. The other person is also connected through their guides and angels to that same spirit. Let that spirit be your medium and thus connect to the other person’s higher self, then stop, look and listen; feel what is going on and be in that energy flow. You may even channel the message needed.
Seeing
Many people are “visual”. But not all are. If you see pictures in the symbols on the Billet, use this as a starter or a pert of your Reading. And, if you see symbol, pictures or scenes in your mind, second sight or clairvoyance may be developing. This has been given to you as your gift; use it. You may even become a “seer”.
Feeling
Feelings and sensations in your own body, mind and emotions may be the clues you need to give the message needed. So, what are you feeling? Is it unique to this moment? If so, it is related to the message you need o give.
Hearing
Listen to the “Still, small voice within”. Listen also to your own guidance. Listen to what is happening around you and if you think that you hear a faint whisper, this may be your guidance speaking to you. You could even become clairaudient.
Smelling
Sometimes you will get the sudden scent of something unusual. Normally, this is spirit speaking to you. Now, how do you interpret that? This is up to you.
Tasting
Though unusual (in my experience), tasting of flavors or foods while reading billets is possible and thus should not be ignored. Again, if you suddenly and for no apparent reason taste something, it is meaningful to you and the person you are reading for.
Talking
Last but certainly not least; TALK. Talking sets your energy flowing, going out and about and even bouncing back. This is how communication and communion takes place, as we share our energy with people, the universe, God and Goddess. The person you are reading the billet for will never get the message that, as a servant of spirit, you have for them unless your energy moves. Our voices are one way to move that energy which is in formation; as information.

WHAT IS MEDIUMSHIP
There are many forms of Mediumship. The paints, stone, metal or wood that an artist uses to transform their inner inspirations into outer reality are called their “medium” through which they work. Their chosen medium then allows that artist to bring the spirit of love, beauty, harmony or truth into this world to such an extent that some people may call them a Master. In this sense, the Master is generally considered to be a human medium. There are also others such as cabinet makers, architects, scientists and even garbage collectors who do their work so effortlessly and easily that you would think that they have help from unseen forces. These, too, are mediums. Even your lowly telephone, radio, TV and wireless internet connection are communication mediums for interacting with unseen electro-magnetic energies. Simply put, “personal mediumship” is allowing ones being and bearing to bring some form of unseen or “spirit” energy into manifestation. You may already be a Medium and don’t know it.
SO, what is Spiritual Mediumship?
There are many forms of spirit or spiritual Mediumship. Look at all the channels you have on your TV or Satellite radio. Are they not each unique? Some seem to be more valuable than others, today. That may change tomorrow.
In general, Spiritual Mediumship is a process in which, obviously, the “gifts of spirit” are active and being distributed to those attending or to those intended. People who exhibit these gifts are the “Mediums” for other “Spirit Entities” energies or disincarnate personalities to pass their views of reality to humanity – and to receive back.
It has been known for many thousands of years that Spiritual Mediumship may be learned through the practices of Relaxation, Calming, Meditation, Spirit Circles, Psychic Development Classes or Healing Classes and that many seekers find Divine Guidance.
Opening Your Mind to Larger Realities
Hypnotherapy, like meditation, is also a way for some people to begin to put the conscious, subconscious and ego into a state of relaxation, so they no longer control. Picture these aspects of self going on a vacation, for a change. Some call this process “releasing the Earth, Body and Mind”. It is very relaxing and can be rejuvenating as well; for self and/or those near by. A telephone line is a “medium” ready to transmit information (energy in formation) both ways. Radios and TVs transform and transmit electro-magnetic energies into something we recognize. Similarly an open mind transforms and transmits spirit energies into usable information.

Who is called to Seek?
Some seek to learn more about themselves, God and/or the Universe. Some seek to practice what they know in their hearts. Others are curious and come to observe so they can decide about their own questionings. Then, some seek to simply soak in the spirit energies and feel better. If one believes that “God is All”, then it matters not what or why they seek.

Seeking within and through Spirit Circles
As two or more are gathered together to seek higher wisdoms and truths from spiritual sources; from beyond what they believe to be themselves, unseen energies are magnetized and drawn together to help. Thus, a prayer circle, meditation group, development class or spirit circle is formed. These kinds of groups have a long and ancient history. Many people are familiar with a meditation, healing or message circle where one person gives all the advice and is in control. The gatherings that we offer are much less structured than that, so that each person present may, in time, become a part of the experience and even learn to give messages or healings or other “gifts of the spirit”. Every student is destined to become a teacher and visa versa.
Some Types of Mediumship … recognized by most Spiritualist Churches
- Physical Mediumship; often called a Séance, is a Spiritualist Circle where Physical Mediumship is desired, such as the appearance of “apports”, table tipping or moving trumpets. Sometimes portions of a Personality and/or Higher Truths are also involved.
- Personality Mediumship; is when people concentrate on bringing “through” a particular Personality, like a relative, Saint or particular Angel. Again, wisdoms and truths from higher sources may also be brought through to the group and/or to individuals.
- Message Mediumship; occurs when a personality or group energy brings a “message” to a person or the group that has gathered. Of course, each person must practice their own form of distinguishing what is useful, enlightening, helpful or healthful from those messages and which are not. Personal-Response-Ability is to be applied at this point, as you must evaluate what you hear or receive to determine its value to you – or not.
- Healing Mediumship; takes place when either messages or energies of healing are evident (sometimes after the Circle has disbanded). This may take place during special healing prayers, healing meditations, by thought or touch or during other circle related activities. Often we close our Spiritualist Circles with a “Healing Circle”.
- Spiritual Mediumship; is practiced by people seeking a greater awareness, wisdom and new views of truth to solve old problems as well as to enlighten self and humanity. This form of mediumship does not depend on Personalities. It is often called “Channeling”. However, some people believe that messages have more meaning when identified with a specific personality that one reveres, such as an Angel, Archangel, Jesus, Mohammed or another Prophet. Thus, there are many who channel a personality or a group of souls focused through the concepts about that personality.
- Bringing New Spiritual Truths to Earth; is a process that never stops. Truth is a living energy of The Living God and thus is always becoming; so there is always more. Bringing spiritual truths, whether through Mediumship and/or Channeling does involve elements of all the types of mediumship mentioned above. Some people identify this type of Channeling to be the highest vibration of Mediumship.
Channeling
Channeling is considered by many to be a step beyond mediumship. It may indeed be considered a “Super Mediumship” for energy transmission or transference, through words, touch, out of body energies, or other ways. To do this, one must relax, release and surrender to spirit, thus getting out of the way for the “still small voice” within. Opening to the energies of the Greater Self (part of God) is when one opens to channel, from Universal Sources and Creative Forces. The man Jesus was an expert at this and was a Mystical Grand Master as he talked with God. Most Prophets, Sages, Avatars and Masters work in similar ways. Divine messengers are always available for the world and individuals within this world. But, are we ready to listen?

The Purpose of our Spiritualist Circles
We hold these Circles so that each attendee may begin to find their own higher self, their inner truths and more of what they seek so that they may become fulfilled in spirit, inspiration, life, light, love and the peace that passeth all understanding.
You as the Medium of your life; thus you are always growing, changing and becoming more, even as you realize that you are something you did or did not know that you could or would be. At the same time you are becoming what you hoped and dreamed you would be. You are on the path to become your own best friend and Guru. Thus, each one of us is a work of God’s Perfection today and at the same time a work in progress toward Greater Discoveries and Perfections in never ending “tomorrows”. In spirit, nothing is ever “static” or “lost”. Energy loves motion and so is God.

Out of Darkness comes Light (Rev. John M. Kohlenberger, 3 Dec 2008)
The book of Genesis says that in the beginning there was a void of no things along with darkness, and then God moved, became aware and said “Let there be light”.
Thus, from the combination of the warmth of love working in the darkness of the womb of mother earth came all life that is alive on, in and around the earth today.
From the darkness of your mother’s womb, your body was conceived and born in love, and infused with the spirit of the divine, so that you might experience the light of day along with the darkness of night and know that the each is born out of the other.
And, as we live our lives, often it is out of darkness and despair that we are reminded that there is more to life than what has been meeting the eye. The inner eye perceives the light that is within all things and inspires our inner flame to become activated so that we may better know and realize our relationship to God, the Angels, our loved ones and all creation.
Thus, the spiritual energies of light and love are attracted by darkness and despair and at the same time give the conditions for light and love to born from within. This is like the old analogy of the chicken being a part of the egg – or is it the other way around? The two are inseparable – they are two different manifestations of the same energy.
Further, within spiritual awareness, which is everywhere without ends or boundaries, love-light travels beyond the speed of physical light, unimpeded by space or time. This is why our scientists don’t yet have instruments to measure these up-scale electro-magnetic vibrational energies. Very few scientists have yet dreamed that something may exist beyond our present “limitations”.
Ordinary light, which is a part of what scientists call “the electro-magnetic spectrum”, travels at 186,000 miles per second. However, the unseen spiritual energies of light travel even faster and easier than that. These energies are beyond physical law and concept and yet at the same time help create the very physicality that we live within. Again, this is kind of like the chicken and the egg.
But, even light has an energetic form as a liquid. Spiritualists who have seen this energy call it “ectoplasm”. Ectoplasm is seen when spiritual energies are working in close attunement with the energies of earth, body and mind. Spiritually this is a “triple point” of manifestation. This is not an uncommon phenomenon to occur during Spiritualist Circles or Séances.
Also, by these same unseen energies working near earthly awareness, one may see or hear entities that exist beyond our time and/or space, at such gatherings.
