Developing Spiritual Awareness, starting with your 5 senses
COMING TO OUR SENSES and going beyond them
Not only do we have more than 5 senses, but the five we recognize have their source beyond the physical, into what some call the Dimensions of Spirit and others call Quantum Domains. It is because we have developed, as spirits and as a species, a recognition of certain vibrational frequencies that makes these awarenesses even possible, in both the physical, non-physical and other realms. Contrary to some popular notions about "Intelligent Design", as a part of the consciousness and mind of God, we have been participants in this scheme and not mere bystanders or victims.
Many people are and have been aware of things above or beyond the physical phenomena that we have all agreed we would talk about, but few of these people have previously been allowed, or allowed themselves, to speak of things that are above, beyond or between our physical senses. Here, for the first time, I am writing about just a few probabilities, possibilities and realities concerning our senses.
Do we have to touch to feel? Not necessarily. As an intuitive healer I have often attuned to what or where there needs to be more light, love and thus healing, even before touching a physical body. Feeling is thus an inner awareness, while touch is the outward physical appearance of that energetic sense. And by an approach that might be termed "reversing the process", healing can be affected without physical touch. Ancient "doctors", Shamans, Herbal and Spiritial Healers knew about and used this in-born human faculty. (More about this, later, when we are speaking about healing.)
The eye sees not only with the physical lens and cornea and nerve connections to the brain organ, but our possibilities for awareness or "seeing" and perceiving in the form of colors, forms and/or pictures, goes far beyond that. If not, then, How do you "see" things in your dreams of night or day? These perceptions stem from the awareness of our soul or inner energy essence. This is how Psychics, Intuitives, Channelers and other people can often tune into past and/or future probabilities or circumstances and perceive enough to tell others about what they "see". Contrary to what some claimed in the past, this is not the work of any devil; it is the work of the God Force and Divine Energy that lives and breathes within each and every one of us.
Yes, there is a "still small voice" within. This voice or vibrational essence may be heard when we attune our awareness to our Inner Hearing channels, that come through the heart, rather than the brain. There are many similarities between the heart and the brain, by the way, neither of which could we do without and still be called "human". Just like the people in your life, each has its purpose and is thus necessary to the functioning, growth, maintenance and richness of your life and being.
Most often we think of taste as being something to do with our lips, tongue and mouth, but that sense goes far beyond just the physical sensors built into the human body. We often talk about traveling somewhere and "getting a taste" of not only the foods of another country, but also the civilization, peoples and customs of that area of the world. As our awareness expands, this sense of taste may also expand as in "acquiring a taste" for certain places, people or situations.
Smell, ah smell! The nose knows, but even beyond that, there are many people that can "smell a rat" or sense a "red herring", and not even be talking about physical animals. Again, this is a sense of "smell" that is beyond the nose and other physical sense organs, that has its origins and essence in the energy domains that we call "Quantum" ... and even beyond that; like all of our other senses or awarenesses.
Taking this adventure into consciousness one step further, I further claim, that the physical brain is only an organizer of energetic information (energy in particular formations or formats - that we have learned to recognize and therefore even believe we have the ability to process), much like the main processor in a modern computer. The main processor only processes what it has been put into it, through hardware, software and firmware; only that which it is "programmed" to recognize and deal with. Much like that processor, our memory and perceptions only work with the energy constructs that we recognize and we "put out of mind" what we either choose not to deal with of can't. All of this is, of course, all at the same time, both very simple and grand creations beyond our conceptions; thus not all of it may be or is contained in our heads or brains. Much of this information stays in the energy domains around our bodies and thus can be "read" by others who are sensitive to such energy frequencies.
Now, I come to the "sixth sense". Sometimes this is merely the recognition of data that is contained by combining elements of the other five. Those who realize only this level of comprehension thus call the sixth sense "nonexistent", as it does not seem to be anything beyond the other five. However, even this is is a level of awareness that is beyond the simplest forms of our five senses.
Beyond that, however, are the senses called "clairvoyance, clairsentience and clairaudience", which describe seeing, sensing or feeling and hearing energies that are not purely physical. Though many can't believe that sensing energy vibrations that exist beyond the physical is impossible, once one has experienced any of these, if they are honest with themselves, they become confirmed believers. When you dream, you are in a similar state of awareness and can thus know things that are beyond knowing, like when a sister-in-law is dying (this was a personal experience of mine) or that you will meet a certain person the next day (also a personal experience).
Loving allowance is the way that we have opened the physical senses that we have. We have lovingly allowed reflections of our physical world into our consciousness, so that we might examine it further and learn new things about ourselves. More allowance, for all things to be, to be perceived and to be discovered, is what will open us up to new frequencies of energy and life to be recognized and come into focus. As they come to our awareness through our God-given and Quantum energy portals that we call "senses", we shall grow in wisdom and love for All-That-Is and all that shall ever be ... as well as for ourselves as a part of all that is that can never be totally separate ... always connected by our built-in Inner-Net, powered by Love.
Isn't it about time to expand our little world and become aware of new, better, brighter and enriching senses and realities? Like developing any new talent, this takes practice. Thus, we offer our Spiritual Circles as a place, time and opportunity to relax and attune beyond the physical five senses ... so we might find new revealed traditions, wisdoms and increased love so that we may make more "sense" of the world!
Sensing beyond The Veil and connecting with Spirit is as simple as creating a slight shift in your perception and expanding it beyond the learned confines of 3-D.
